This is the original inspiration and design concept for my logo
I was inspired by a famous movie The Dark Knight by Christopher Nolan, the joker in the show represents absolute evil, I started to think of using the joker as the left half of my logo design also because of this movie, I used a normal adult male face in the right half of my logo to express people with good intentions.
I drew down the faces of the clown and the man, and eventually combined the two photos by means of positive and negative shapes, while the clown is negative, symbolizing being on the dark side, and the synecdoche man is on the positive side symbolizing light and a series of good words.
Here’s my final finished logo in the computer software, half clown, half man
I used the logo for several other things, including the cover design, the inside of the magazine, and more.

Also from this movie，the joker and man. But in the end I felt that this was mostly about the clown part and too little about the human part, so I discarded that part of the logo at the end of the design.
